A Real Bakery, with a Story on the Wall

We’re Vinman’s Bakery, tucked into University Way in the heart of Ellensburg. We bake the old-fashioned way, by hand and from scratch, the same simple things done well: good bread, flaky pastry, honest cinnamon buns.

Walk in and you’ll find historic photographs of valley bakeries hanging above the bread shelves, and a little folk painting of our own striped awning. We like that this place feels rooted, like it belongs to the town.

Most days you’ll get a smile and a quick conversation along with your order. That’s the part we’re proudest of. Come say hello.

You'll find us at 700 E University Way #2 in Ellensburg, right by Central Washington University. We're open Tuesday through Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday 7:00am to 4:00pm. We're closed Sunday and Monday.

Regulars rave about the pistachio cream croissants, the kouign-amann, and our cinnamon buns. The sourdough and artisan loaves go fast too. Come early for the best pick, and give us a call if you want to know what just came out of the oven.

Yes. Our espresso stand is open, so you can grab a fresh coffee to go with your pastry.

We do. We bake our own dog biscuits, so your four-legged friend can have a treat too.
